ExPro – Lightweight Level III+ Shield
The ExPro Covert ballistic shield is designed specifically for executive protection and low vis operations. Available for Chevy, Ford and GMC SUV’s. This shield is constructed using flat rifle rated ballistic panels, contained in a heavy-duty cover that can easily be installed against the rear of the back row seats. The ExPro ballistic panels are held in a heavy duty Cordura cover and is designed to be low profile as to not affect rear cargo area. Each ExPro model comes complete with 3 panels, Drivers side, passenger side and piece to overlap those sections to provide ballistic coverage over the seam. This tri-shield design allows for rear seats to be put up and down, in the case of carrying extra cargo. The shields are easily deployable and have the ability for custom handles and design on the carry bag.

The shield is constructed from 100% UHMWPE and is rated to NIJ Level III+. This unofficial level covers the traditional NIJ Level III performance for 6 strikes of 7.62 x 51mm NATO Ball (US designation M80 Ball) and also the widely recognized threat from AK47 MSC 7.62 x 39mm round, 5.56 x 45 55gr M193 and 5.56 x 45 62gr Federal Bonded (LE223T3).
