Level III/III+ Shield
United Shield International offers a wide range of level III and III+ shields, in various sizes, utilizing the latest in lightweight material and construction methods providing excellent multi hit capability at industry leading weights.
The shields are designed for ambidextrous use and optimum mobility. Shields are available with our without level III viewports. To reduce damage of the shield and provide perimeter edge protection/durability, the shields are finished in a proprietary hard wearing rubber trim.
All shields are equipped with our multi-functional handle system that allows for ambidextrous use, custom arm pad and special curvature for greater rigidity and protection. Also available to ease the load of the shield is an optional neck strap.

Levels of Protection
The shield is constructed from 100% UHMWPE and is rated to NIJ Level III and III+. This unofficial level covers the traditional NIJ Level III performance for 6 strikes of 7.62 x 51mm NATO Ball (US designation M80 Ball) and also the widely recognized threat from AK47 MSC 7.62 x 39mm round (III+). The shield is also offered constructed using a ceramic blend to achieve level III++ protection from 6 strikes of 5.56 x 45mm 55gr M193 and 62gr M855.
